Discussing ways of cooperation between Lutsk and Poland

On 8 December the delegation from Republic of Poland visited Lutsk and took part in the working meeting in Lutsk City Council. The event was attended by Lutsk Deputy Mayor Taras Iakovlev, Head of International Cooperation and Project Activities Department Vira Kudriavtseva, Head of the Local Economy Сommittee of the National Economy Chamber in Warsaw Zenon Kiczka, representatives of employment agencies from Poland, Volyn region and Lutsk. Among the participants were also Polish entrepreneurs, who shared their experience in running business.

Taras Iakovlev greeted foreign colleagues in our city and noted that the main objective of the event was holding the discussion on joint projects implementation, attracting investments and bussiness development. He strengthened on the fruitful cooperation with Zenon Kiczka, especially taking into consideration his participation as an expert in the project «Lutsk agglomeration - cooperation and local communities development in the surrounding areas».

The representatives of Małopolskie Voivodeship employment centre made presentations of the main directions of their work, including development of the labour market, analyzing its needs. According to Zenon Kiczka this employment centre is considered to be one of the most effective in Poland among those contributing to human resources development. He also introduced the idea of establishing the so-called Polish experts club, aiming at strengthening the human resources sector in Lutsk.

The meeting was attended by the business representatives, who arrived in Lutsk with the business proposal on replacement of gas boilers into biofuel boilers and installment of Polish equipment for Lutsk sewage system. Taras Iakovlev emphasized on the Lutsk's is readiness to become an attractive region for Polish exporters.
