The Cooperation Agreement between the cities of Lutsk and Patras (Greece) was signed
The Cooperation Agreement was signed by Mayor of Lutsk Mykola Romaniuk and Deputy Mayor of Patras Maria Andrikopoulou-Rouvali. The officials agreed to sign the Cooperation Agreement during the conference, organized by the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe within the framework of the Council of Europe and European Commission Programme «Intercultural Cities», which was held in Dublin (Ireland) in February 2013.
According to the Agreement the collaboration between the cities will mainly involve project activities in the context of realizing events and initiatives within the Intercultural Cities Network. The Sides will make every effort to involve additional resources (including grants), aiming to realize the following:
· providing creative teams exchanges, conducting joint festivals, contests and other joint events;
· developing cooperation between educational institutions and youth exchanges;
· establishing contacts between representatives of public sector;
· fostering entrepreneurs participation in different fairs, exhibitions, economic forums etc.;
· providing information and intentions exchanges, aiming to strengthen mutual respect and understanding.
