 The representatives of “June 4 Society” are with a working visit in Lutsk

   Today, Secretary of “June 4 Society” Maja Viniarska-Chaikovska and expert on territorial defense and security Andrzej Broda met with the representatives of Lutsk City Council, who with the assistance of “June 4 Society” were trained at local governments' offices in Poland. The Society operates over a year and is interested in supporting Ukraine by organizing study visits that is why it launches a training programme “New Seed”. Thanks to this program, 4 employees of Lutsk City Council, representing the fields of city’s promotion, municipal police, involving EU funds and informatization, were trained in administration of Grodzhisk Mazovyetski. They talked about the gained knowledge and ways how to apply it on practice. In particular, the Deputy Head of Tourism and Promotion Department of Lutsk City Council Bohdan Kalish emphasized that during the study visit to Poland, the trainees gathered many ideas which they will try to use in their work. Deputy Head of Municipal Police Sector Vadim Mishchuk noted that in times of ocal self-governments powers raise, the knowledge obtained during the traineeship will be very useful. Specialist of International Cooperation and Project Activities Anna Vintsyuk convinced that Poland's experience in attracting EU funds will be helpful in projects’ activity. Specialist of Computer Software Sector Natalia Khmel told how to use the Polish experience in the implementation of new computer technologies in the work of City Council. Sergii Grygorenko added that the members of the executive committee and City Council members will be equipped with the tablets for electronic document management. Further, the possibility of participation in exchange programs for the executive staff of the City Council was discussed in detail.
