Мain tasks of Department of Tourism and City Promotion:
• implementation of state policy, regional programs, policies of the City Council in the field of tourism and recreation, defining the prospects and directions of tourism development in Lutsk;
• creation of favorable conditions for attraction of investments and other funds to the tourist sector of the city;
• development of tourist infrastructure of the city and entrepreneurship in the field of tourism;
• promotion of innovative trends and pilot projects in the field of tourism, enlarging the range of tourism industry services;
• conducting the complex analysis and forecasting of tourism development in
the city;
• creation of positive perception of Lutsk, popularization of the tourist potential of the city in Ukraine and abroad;
• promotion of rational exploitation and preservation of places of tourist attraction;
• coordination of cooperation between units of tourism industry, public organizations and local authorities in the field of tourism.
