Lutsk honey is once again among the best in the world!
From September 23 to 27, the 49th International Beekeeping Congress – Apimondia 2025 – took place in Copenhagen, Denmark. The Congress is organized jointly by the beekeepers’ associations of Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.
At the Congress, beekeepers from around the world exchange experiences, present their products, and discuss various aspects of their work as well as the latest developments in the field of beekeeping.
As part of Apimondia, an international mead competition was also held, where the beverage “The Congress of Monarchs 1429,” created by Volodymyr Dmytruk, head of the regional organization Brotherhood of Beekeepers of the Volyn Land “Roiovyi Stan”, deputy head of the Guild of Mead Makers of Ukraine, vice president of the Union of Beekeepers of Ukraine, head of the Beekeeping Circle of Ukraine, and owner of “Medova Khata” – won a gold medal!
Thus, mead from Lutsk has been recognized as one of the best in the world! This is a great achievement and an honor.

In 2022, Lutsk beekeepers Volodymyr Dmytruk and Anton Shotik triumphed at the 47th World Congress Apimondia 2022: Mr. Dmytruk’s mead “Drunken Cherry” won gold, while Mr. Shotik’s mead “Honey Berry” earned bronze.
