Cultural and Arts Center "Krasne" performers took the stage in Elbląg, Poland

This past weekend, the exemplary folk ensemble “Vervechka” and the vocal studio “Zerniatko” from the Krasne Cultural and Arts Center of the municipal institution "Palace of Culture of the City of Lutsk" participated in the 57th Children’s Festival of Ukrainian Culture held in Elbląg, Poland, at the invitation of the Association of Ukrainians in Poland.

Around 50 groups and over 500 participants from various parts of Poland, including: Pieniężno, Lębork, Pasłęk and Godkowo, Olsztyn, Gdańsk, Słupsk, Toprzyny, Koszalin, and others – presented famous Ukrainian folk songs, performed traditional dances, staged fairy tales and dramatic plays, and shared the customs, traditions, and rituals of the Ukrainian people.

The festival was organized by Myroslav Prytula, head of the Association of Ukrainians in Elbląg, who spoke with heartfelt gratitude and warmth about the importance of preserving the traditions and customs of one’s ancestors, embracing and sharing Ukrainian culture, and cherishing one’s roots.
