Secretary of Lutsk City Council met with the Consul General of the Czech Republic in Lviv, Jiří Borcel
Secretary of Lutsk City Council Kateryna Shkloda and First Deputy Mayor of Lutsk Iryna Chebeliuk met with the Consul General of the Czech Republic in Lviv, Jiří Borcel, and the head of the CzechTrade office in Ukraine, Vojtěch Vraspír.
Kateryna Shkloda thanked the guests for visiting Lutsk and proposed establishing close cooperation in various spheres of the community’s development and daily life. She also expressed special gratitude for the support provided to members of the “Volyniany” folk music ensemble, who visited an arts camp in the city of Kyjov last June — a twinning city of Lutsk.
Jiří Borcel thanked the city leadership for their constant care and support of ethnic Czechs living within the Lutsk City Territorial Community. He noted that during his visit to the city, he toured the Volyn Regional Clinical Hospital and became acquainted with the operations of several local enterprises.
In conclusion, Kateryna Shkloda emphasized that the city is interested in Czech investment:
“We are ready to consider all proposals and support business development, as well as give the green light to humanitarian and social projects. Once again, thank you for your support and assistance, because in these difficult times it is very important to feel that you are not alone.”
