Lutsk hosted the 4th veteran business fair “I Could – and So Can You!”
The event featured over 40 veteran entrepreneurs from various regions, including Irpin, Lviv, Khmelnytskyi, and Volyn, showcasing a diverse range of products such as clothing, meat products, sweets, tea, and souvenirs.
The fair also included participation from families of fallen Heroes and active service members. Lutsk City Mayor Ihor Polishchuk attended the event, supporting several entrepreneurs and purchasing local products.
According to Oleg Kobylynskyi, Director of the Veterans Policy Department of Lutsk City Council, the number of participating veteran businesses has grown from 20 at the inaugural fair to over 40 in the fourth edition, with approximately five to six new businesses joining each time. Currently, around 60 veteran businesses have been involved, and about 100 are interested in participating in future events.
Deputy Mayor Iryna Chebeliuk noted that the initiative aims to support local veterans and their businesses while expanding to include participants from other regions. The next fair is scheduled.
