Members of the folk music ensemble “Volyniany” from Lutsk Music School No. 3 visited the city of Kyjov, Czech Republic
Talented children from the Lutsk community, members of the folk music ensemble “Volyniany” from Lutsk Music School No. 3, participated in a summer arts camp in the city of Kyjov (Czech Republic).
This cultural visit was made possible thanks to the partnership between the cities of Kyjov and Lutsk.
For seven days, Kyjov became a place filled with warmth, tradition, and genuine, friendly communication for the young participants from Lutsk.
The organizers prepared a rich and engaging program that included excursions to Milotice Castle, the local history museum, the House of Nature and zoo in Hodonín, a trip to the city of Brno, a boat ride, a visit to Veveří Castle, and outings to concerts, a water park, and a movie theater.
The Volynyany ensemble also had the opportunity to present Ukrainian culture through performances at various venues throughout the city.
An official meeting was held with the Mayor of Kyjov, František Lukl, and Deputy Mayors Daniel Chmelík and Kamil Filipek, who warmly welcomed the group and emphasized the importance of this project in strengthening cooperation between Lutsk and Kyjov.
