Люблін - місто взаємності: досвід інтеграції та підтримки для українських громад
12-13 серпня 2025 року в Любліні відбувся інтеркультурний захід «Місто взаємності: досвід Любліна для інтеграції та взаємопідтримки», у якому взяли участь локальні координаторки інтеркультурних міст України - Луцька, Павлограда, Сум, Мелітополя та Вінниці. Делегацію очолила директорка департаменту культури Луцької міської ради Тетяна Гнатів.
Метою візиту було вивчення кращих практик інтеграції біженців і національних спільнот у Польщі для їх подальшого застосування у роботі з внутрішньо переміщеними особами в Україні.
Два дні інтенсивних зустрічей та спілкування дали учасникам можливість глибоко зануритися в інноваційні міські практики Любліна:
• знайомство з Urban Lab – міською лабораторією для молоді, що розвиває активність і професійний потенціал;
• візит до SPILNO Lublin – центру підтримки людей з досвідом міграції;
• відвідини молодіжного простору KOSMOS, що об’єднує молодь навколо творчості та спільних ініціатив;
Другий день був присвячений культурі та практичним навичкам інтеграції:
• екскурсія до Люблінського замку;
• відвідини міжкультурного центру Baobab, що є справжнім осередком співпраці та підтримки;
• тренінги з інтеркультурності як інструменту взаємопідтримки;
• зустріч із представниками Фонду «Сила єдності», створеного українськими жінками, які активно співпрацюють із муніципалітетом міста Люблін та допомагають українським біженцям
Важливо, що представники українських міст змогли на власні очі побачити, як системно і водночас по-людськи Люблін працює з тими, хто потребує підтримки. Це безцінний досвід для наших громад, які щодня шукають шляхи інтеграції й допомоги ВПО, відбудови соціальних зв’язків і зміцнення єдності.
Люблін вкотре підтвердив свою роль міста-рятівника і міста-партнера, яке ділиться найкращими практиками задля майбутнього, де взаємність і підтримка стають основою миру та розвитку.
Цей захід - ще один крок у зміцненні партнерства між українськими та європейськими інтеркультурними містами в межах програми Ради Європи «Інтеркультурні міста».
Захід організовано в межах проєкту «Міста взаємності: інтеграція через міжкультурний діалог», який реалізується департаментом культури Луцької міської ради у партнерстві з містами Люблін (Польща) та Павлоград (Україна) за підтримки Програми Ради Європи «Інтеркультурні міста» (ICC) Intercultural Cities / Cités interculturelles та фінансується Радою Європи.

Lublin – City of Reciprocity: Experience of Integration and Support for Ukrainian Communities
On August 12–13, 2025, the intercultural event “City of Reciprocity: Lublin’s Experience for Integration and Mutual Support” took place in Lublin, gathering local coordinators of Intercultural Cities from Ukraine – Lutsk, Pavlohrad, Sumy, Melitopol, and Vinnytsia. The delegation was headed by Tetiana Hnativ, Director of the Department for Culture of Lutsk City Council.
The purpose of the visit was to study best practices of refugee and minority integration in Poland in order to apply them to work with internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Ukraine.
Two days of intensive meetings and exchanges allowed participants to immerse themselves in Lublin’s innovative urban practices:
• exploring Urban Lab – a city laboratory for young people fostering civic engagement and professional development;
• visiting SPILNO Lublin – a support center for people with migration experience;
• learning about the KOSMOS youth space, which brings young people together around creativity and community initiatives.
The second day focused on culture and practical integration tools:
• a guided tour of the Lublin Castle;
• a visit to the Baobab Intercultural Centre, a vibrant hub of cooperation and support;
• training sessions on interculturalism as a tool for mutual support and integration;
• a meeting with the “Strength of Unity” Foundation, created by Ukrainian women, which actively cooperates with the Lublin municipality and provides assistance to Ukrainian refugees.
It was particularly important for the Ukrainian city representatives to witness firsthand how Lublin works both systematically and with humanity to support those in need. This is invaluable experience for Ukrainian communities, which are daily seeking ways to integrate and support IDPs, rebuild social connections, and strengthen unity.
Lublin once again confirmed its role as both a city of refuge and a city of partnership, sharing best practices for a future where reciprocity and support become the foundation of peace and development.
This event was another step in strengthening cooperation between Ukrainian and European Intercultural Cities within the framework of the Council of Europe’s Intercultural Cities (ICC) Programme.
The event was organized as part of the project “Cities of Reciprocity: Integration through Intercultural Dialogue”, implemented by the Department for Culture of Lutsk City Council in partnership with the cities of Lublin (Poland) and Pavlohrad (Ukraine), with the support of the Council of Europe’s Intercultural Cities (ICC) Programme, and funded by the Council of Europe.
